What this policy covers

This policy covers personal information handled through our website, consultation and enquiry forms, requests for interior costs or design information, guide requests, telephone calls, email, WhatsApp, studio visits, and related design and project services. It also covers relevant information about client representatives, vendor contacts, contractors and other business contacts.

It applies to information that identifies a person directly or can reasonably be linked to them. Property plans, photographs and project records may be personal information when associated with a homeowner or identifiable household.

Separate contracts govern project scope, payments, warranties, cancellations and refunds. This policy does not waive privacy rights, replace a project agreement, or make a website visitor liable for making a good faith complaint.

03

Your choices and our basis for processing

We process information for specific purposes with consent where required, or on another basis permitted by the law applicable to that activity. We explain additional purposes at the point of collection where appropriate. Simply visiting our website, viewing this policy, or submitting an enquiry is not blanket permission for every use of your information.

You may decline optional information or withdraw consent by contacting us. If particular information is necessary to respond to an enquiry or deliver a service, we will explain any resulting limitation. Optional marketing and publicity permissions are separate from necessary project communications.

04

Information you provide

Consultation enquiries. Our design consultation form requests your name, country code and mobile number, email address, property location, whether you already own a home or commercial space, property type, expected project start timeframe and budget range. We use this information to understand your request, assess service suitability, assign a relevant team member and arrange follow up.

Design and project information. During a consultation or project, you may provide floor plans, site dimensions, photographs, design preferences, household requirements, appliance details, material choices, approved drawings and instructions. We use relevant information to develop proposals, coordinate work and deliver agreed services.

Contact and correspondence records. We may retain enquiries, emails, WhatsApp conversations, appointment details, quotations, approvals, complaints and aftercare requests. Please avoid including unrelated private information in messages, plans or photographs.

Transaction information. If you engage us, we may process billing details, invoices, payment status, transaction references and tax information needed for that engagement. Refund bank details may be requested where necessary. Do not send passwords, payment PINs, OTPs or card security codes to our team.

Business contacts. If you represent a vendor, contractor, client or other organisation, we may collect your professional contact details, role, relevant credentials, contractual communications and information needed to administer that relationship. Banking or tax details are collected only where needed for an appropriate transaction or obligation.

05

Information collected through website use

Depending on the website features and services in operation, technical records may include IP address, browser and device characteristics, requested pages, timestamps, error records, referral information and cookie identifiers. We use necessary technical records for delivery, troubleshooting, security and abuse prevention.

We do not infer that you have supplied your precise device location merely because you enter a property location. Any browser permission for precise location, camera or microphone requires an appropriate feature notice and permission request.

06

Information from other people

We may receive project contact information from an authorised representative, a referral you have authorised, or a project participant where the sharing is lawful and relevant. If you provide another person’s details, please ensure you have authority or another lawful basis to share them and make this policy available to them.

We will not treat a referral as automatic consent to unrelated promotional contact. Information received from public sources is still handled with regard to applicable privacy requirements.

07

How we use personal information

We use relevant contact and enquiry information to answer questions, arrange private design consultations, provide requested design resources, and discuss project feasibility, budget and timing. When you request a guide, our use should be limited to delivering it and any separately authorised follow up.

For accepted projects, we use information to prepare designs and estimates, record approvals and changes, procure materials, coordinate site access and installation, communicate progress, manage payments, and provide handover, warranty and aftercare support.

We also use necessary records to manage suppliers and professional advisers, maintain accounts and tax records, respond to complaints, investigate suspected fraud or misuse, secure our systems, and comply with lawful requirements.

Where reasonably necessary and lawful, relevant records may be used to establish, exercise or defend legal rights. We will not retain every record indefinitely merely because a dispute might theoretically arise.

We will provide a further notice and obtain fresh permission where required before using information for a materially different purpose. General wording in this policy does not authorise incompatible uses.

08

Calls email WhatsApp and marketing

If you ask us to contact you, we may respond through a suitable channel using the details supplied. Enquiry follow up and communications needed for a project are distinct from promotional campaigns. We will respect the scope of your request and applicable communication restrictions.

Where we send promotional messages, we will obtain the permissions required for the channel and provide a practical way to opt out. You can email hello@interiors360.in with “Marketing opt out” and the relevant contact details, or use an unsubscribe facility provided in the message. We may keep a limited suppression record to honour your choice.

Submitting an enquiry does not, by itself, waive DND or NDNC protections or other applicable communication rules. Withdrawing marketing permission will not prevent necessary service, payment, safety or legal communications that have an independent lawful basis.

WhatsApp and other communication platforms process information under their own privacy terms as well as facilitating our communications. Please use a suitable channel for sensitive documents and avoid sharing unnecessary household details in group conversations.

If we introduce call recording, we will give appropriate advance notice of its purpose and handle any permission required. A telephone number on our website does not itself indicate that calls are recorded.

09

Sensitive information and household privacy

We do not need identity documents, medical records or other sensitive information for an ordinary website enquiry. If a specific project requirement involves accessibility or health information, we will explain the need, limit collection and seek any required consent.

Please remove access codes, security system details, personal documents and identifiable bystanders from photographs where possible. Any information needed for temporary site access should be shared only with authorised personnel through an appropriate channel.

10

Photographs videos and testimonials

Site photographs, measurements and progress records may be needed for design, execution, quality checks and documenting agreed work. These operational uses are separate from publishing your home or identity for advertising.

Our website features portfolios, client stories, testimonials and video content, and our process describes a professional photoshoot. Participation in a photoshoot is not automatic permission to publish photographs, names, voices, family members, exact addresses or identifying property details.

Before identifiable promotional use, we will seek separate permission explaining the material, intended channels and identifying details to be included. Declining optional publicity will not remove your entitlement to agreed project services.

You can withdraw consent for future consent based promotional use by emailing us. We will assess removal from channels we control and explain reasonable limitations for previously printed material, lawful archival records or copies independently republished by others. We will not claim unlimited publicity rights through this policy.

11

Cookies analytics and advertising

Cookies and similar technologies can support website functionality, remember choices, measure use or support advertising. Necessary functionality and optional tracking serve different purposes and will be handled accordingly. Where applicable law requires consent, optional tracking must not run before the required consent is obtained.

You may manage cookies through your browser and any preference controls provided on the website. Blocking necessary cookies may affect a feature. Deleting cookies may reset saved choices. A privacy policy alone is not a cookie consent mechanism.

12

External platforms and embedded content

Our website provides contact options including WhatsApp and Google Maps, as well as videos and external content. Clicking an external link or loading an embedded feature can disclose technical information to its provider. Depending on the feature, the provider may set cookies or associate activity with an account you hold.

Third parties determine some of their own processing purposes. Please review their current privacy notices and controls. We remain responsible for our own handling of information and for choosing and configuring integrations appropriately.

The appearance of a property developer, residential community, product brand or supplier on our website does not mean we share your enquiry with that organisation. Any such sharing must have a specific, lawful purpose and any required permission.

13

Who may receive information

Authorised personnel may access information relevant to their duties. Project information may be shared with designers, site engineers, contractors, installers, suppliers or delivery providers to the extent needed for the agreed work. For example, delivery coordination may require a contact number and site address, while fabrication may require approved drawings.

We may use service providers for website hosting, enquiry management, communications, storage, payment processing and other business functions. Where they process information for us, appropriate contractual, confidentiality and security requirements should apply.

Accountants, legal advisers, insurers and other professional advisers may receive information necessary for their engagement. We may disclose information where required by law, a valid legal process or a competent authority, or where otherwise lawfully necessary to protect rights or address fraud or safety risks.

A proposed business transfer may require limited disclosure subject to lawful safeguards and appropriate confidentiality. We will provide any notice or obtain any permission required if responsibility for information changes.

We do not sell or rent your personal information or share it with third parties for their independent marketing. Necessary sharing for the service purposes described above is distinct from independent third party marketing. Any proposed change to this commitment requires appropriate notice and any fresh permission required by law.

14

Payments and financial records

Where a bank or payment gateway processes a payment, it handles information submitted to its own systems under its applicable terms. We may receive payment confirmation and details necessary for reconciliation, invoicing and support. Information given directly to us remains subject to this policy.

We may verify refund instructions to prevent misdirected or fraudulent payments. Any verification should be proportionate and should not require irrelevant identity or financial information.

15

Storage and processing outside India

The location of processing depends on the services used by us and our providers. Where information is processed outside India, we will comply with applicable transfer restrictions and use the safeguards required for that information and activity. There is no blanket waiver of transfer restrictions through use of our website.

16

Security and incidents

We will use reasonable security measures appropriate to the information and risks involved, and restrict access to authorised purposes. No website, message service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. This limitation does not excuse a failure to meet our contractual or statutory duties.

If an incident occurs, we will investigate, take appropriate containment and remedial steps, and make notifications required by applicable law. Please report suspected misuse or accidental disclosure to hello@interiors360.in without sending further sensitive information unnecessarily.

17

How long we retain information

We retain personal information only for the period necessary for its stated purpose and applicable legal requirements. Relevant considerations include whether an enquiry remains active, the duration of the project and aftercare relationship, accounting and tax obligations, and an actual complaint, claim or preservation requirement.

Different records may require different periods. Contact data for an unsuccessful enquiry should not automatically be retained for the full period applicable to invoices. Marketing data should be reviewed when permission is withdrawn, while a minimal opt out record may remain necessary.

When retention is no longer justified, we will delete, anonymise or otherwise securely dispose of information. Backups may be removed through their normal controlled cycle, with access restricted and preserved copies not used for unrelated purposes.

18

Your requests and privacy choices

You may contact us to ask about your information, request correction or updating, request deletion where retention is no longer justified, withdraw consent, stop optional marketing or raise a concern. We will assess and honour rights available under the law applicable at the time, including additional statutory rights as they commence.

Where applicable, this includes rights to a summary of personal data and processing, relevant sharing information, grievance redressal and nomination of another individual in accordance with the law. We do not represent that every provision of a law with phased commencement is already operative.

Please write to hello@interiors360.in with “Privacy request” in the subject, describe your request and identify the contact details associated with your enquiry or project. We may request proportionate identity or authority verification to avoid disclosing information to an unauthorised person. Please do not send identity documents unless reasonably requested.

If a request cannot be fully fulfilled because of a lawful retention duty, another person’s rights or an applicable exception, we will explain the reason and any available next steps. We will not require you to waive a complaint or claim as a condition of exercising a privacy right.

19

Children and information supplied by representatives

Our consultation and contracting services are intended for adults capable of entering into an agreement. We do not seek children’s information for direct marketing. A child’s bedroom project does not require publication of the child’s identity or personal circumstances.

Where information about a child is necessary, we will seek appropriate parent or guardian involvement and follow the requirements applicable to that processing. Please contact us if you believe a child has submitted information without appropriate authority.

If someone acts on your behalf, we may verify their authority and limit disclosure to the relevant request. Instructions from a family member or vendor do not automatically authorise access to all client records.

20

Privacy complaints and contact details

Please contact us first so that we can understand and address your concern. Include a short description, the relevant enquiry or project reference, and a safe way to respond. Share only supporting information needed to investigate.

Email for privacy requests and concerns: hello@interiors360.in
Telephone: +91 63690 34569
Business contact address: 229, Madavaram Red Hills Rd, Kilburn Nagar, Madhavaram, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600060, India.

We will acknowledge and address privacy grievances within the period required by the law applicable to the complaint. Where the Information Technology sensitive personal data rules apply, grievances will be addressed expeditiously and within one month of receipt. We will explain any further information reasonably needed to investigate.

You retain the right to seek advice or approach a competent authority, court or statutory forum. Where a right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India applies and has commenced, you may exercise it subject to the applicable procedure. Contacting us does not shorten a statutory deadline or prevent urgent relief.

21

Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy to reflect changes to services, technology, processing practices or applicable law. The current version will be available on our website with its effective date and last updated date.

Material changes will be brought to your attention where required. A revised policy does not retrospectively authorise a new purpose requiring fresh consent. Existing information will be handled in accordance with applicable notice, consent and legal requirements.

22

Relationship with law and other notices

This policy is intended to explain our practices in clear language. Applicable Indian privacy and information technology requirements govern our handling of information, including the Information Technology Act and relevant rules and the Digital Personal Data Protection framework as the relevant provisions commence.

A shorter notice provided with a specific form or feature should explain that activity and be read with this policy. If any wording conflicts with a mandatory requirement, the mandatory requirement prevails. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or makes the exercise of a privacy right a breach of contract.

For questions about how we handle your personal information, please email hello@interiors360.in.
